The goal of this project is to develop a Desk Time Activity Tracker that records all desktop activities of a user and stores them in a MySQL database hosted on a PHP server. The system will calculate the total active time for each user on a daily and monthly basis. System Overview: Activity Recording: The system will track all applications/software used by a user on their desktop. It will record the start time, end time, and total duration of each application usage seprately. The data will be automatically logged and stored in the MySQL database. Project Manager Role: A Project Manager will have access to the recorded activities of users. The Project Manager will review and confirm valid activities based on work-related tasks. The total time calculation will be adjusted based on the confirmed valid activities. Admin Panel: The system will include an Admin Panel for user management. The Admin will define a list of valid and invalid software based on organizational policies. By default, the system will track time for all software unless specified otherwise by the Admin. Time Calculation & Reports: The system will generate reports showing daily and monthly time spent on valid activities. Time will be categorized based on confirmed valid and invalid activities. Users, Project Managers, and Admins will have access to different reports based on their roles. Key Features: * Automated Activity Tracking – Logs all software usage with timestamps. * Role-Based Access Control – Admin, Project Manager, and User roles with different permissions. * Software Classification – Admin can mark software as valid or invalid for tracking purposes. * Daily & Monthly Reports – Summarized reports based on validated work hours. * Web-Based Admin Panel – Manage users, software, and review activities. * Mobile Application – Flutter-based app exclusively for Admins and Project Managers to manage tasks and monitor activity. * Task Assignment – Project managers can assign tasks to employees through mobile that will show in the dashboard. * Social Media Filtering – Software and websites like social media will not be recorded in the time.
